Over the years the systematic ADDIE process has proven success in design and development of learning. However, ADDIE may be too “organised” in today’s world of swift change.The landscape today is characterized by frequently changing business requirements, incorporation of Web 2.0 elements, short shelf-life of content and the need for clients to see what they are getting (or at least a sample) in the early stages of the process.
Clients are not only looking for compressed delivery schedules, but more flexibility and transparency in the learning design and development process. Also, demands from learning designers are greater than ever, to show clearer linkages between their decisions with business outcomes.
Software development and management has inherited many practices from the manufacturing sector – principles and practices that may not be best suited for the current world of management. Agile provides a way that empowers individual developers to produce value by giving them control of their deliverables, thus enabling measurable and visible progress.
In this highly interactive workshop, we have developed a series of activities to introduce you to Agile and the common pitfalls and ways to overcome them. The activities themselves will also be structured in a way to follow the agile principles – so, you’ll be learning about Agile while practicing Agile.

His expertise is fuelled by his passion for learning, anticipation of technology trends, and a focus on costs effective solutions. Jeevan has an MBA in HR from XLRI, Masters in Biotechnology and is a Non-Executive Director at Independent Living Centre (NSW). He was entrepreneurial experience and worked in various roles as a consultant or manager for PWC, Deloitte, Boots Pharm, Westpac, St George Bank, Royal Australian College of Physicians.
Vikram is a Scrum Alliance Certified- Scrum Master with over 8 years of experience in practicing Agile methodologies. Vikram began his career with GE Healthcare where he led multiple Agile projects, coordinating and working with teams from India, France, China and the USA. Vikram later transitioned to Philips Healthcare’s Oncology team where he worked with the existing team to introduce them into the Agile framework, setting up the tools and processes for the team to seamlessly transfer into the new working methodology.
